CPoSM project on CESAM
In January, LISA welcomed Dr. David de Haan and several young researchers from the University of San Diego, to carry out experiments on CESAM as part of its “Laboratory Simulations of Cloud Processing of Smoke” (CPoSm) project. The aim of this project is to gain a better understanding of the interactions between smoke from California's increasingly regular wildfires and clouds. Such a study could ultimately help improve the health of local residents.
This experimental campaign was funded by the ATMO-ACCESS (Access to Atmospheric Research Facilities) project, which gives scientists from all over the world access to atmospheric research platforms located in Europe (H2020).
